  • 300-word abstract
  • 600-word abstract (the book on a page)
  • Full 8-10 page summary
  • 12 new Summary Reviews are added each quarter.

Q. What are Business Book Review audio summaries?
A. With some records in Business Book Review, you will see an MP3 Audio Summary message. This indicates that an audio version of the full review is available for listening and download in MP3 audio format.

To download a Business Book Review audio summary:
  • In the review record, click on MP3 Audio Summary to access the audio version of the book review. (Ensure that pop-up windows are enabled for Business Book Review)
  • In the window that appears, you can either download a large or normal version of the file.
  • You can use the Flash player active in the window to listen to the summary or download it to your computer for use in a portable MP3 player.

Q. Can users sign themselves up for BBR?
A. If you have a group subscription or site license, you can either register your users for access or they may "self-register". To have your users self-register on a "first-come, first-served" basis, simply publish the BBR URL to an email with distribution list or to your intranet, and broadcast its availability to your potential users. When the user clicks on the URL, he provides his first and last name, and email address (which becomes his user name), and then creates his own password.

Sample User Name and Password URL businessbookreview.com/signup.php?signup=xxx (where xxx = your account ID).

Q. Can I provide direct access to BBR (no user name/password required)?
A. Yes, if you have an enterprise subscription, you can publish the BBR URL to an email with distribution list or to your intranet, and broadcast its availability to your targeted users. No user name or password is required, and there is no limit on the number of users who can access Business Book Review.

A. Yes, you can monitor individual or aggregate user activity on Business Book Review. To track group activity:

  1. From the Administrator Control Panel, click the Show Group Activity button.
  2. You can click on the hyperlinked user name to view statistics for that user. You can also save the usage reports in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format for use in a spreadsheet program such as MS Excel. Click on the Download Usage Report in CSV (semicolon delimited) Format link, and save to your computer.

Q. Is BBR summary usage availability in delimited format?
A. Yes, you can set a direct link to a BBR summary that you recommend to your users, and "push" it to your BBR Home Page.

  1. From the BBR home page, click the Reset Direct Link button.
  2. On the Search by Category Screen, select the category of interest from the drop-down list. (For example, select Customer Satisfaction.)
